Are too many EXCUSES holding you back?

People from all walks of life use excuses not to do things that they really
want to do, like starting their own business. People have a way of using
excuses as a huge crutch, keeping their aspirations and dreams hobbled for
life.

Successful people in business don't know the meaning of having excuses in
their life and in their business. It is like a foreign language for them.
For every challenge that comes up in their daily business life, they find
the solution while many who don't start a business, always find excuses and
reasons why they will not start one.

Here are common excuses that people use that holds them back from ever
really starting or even succeeding in business. Solutions are also included.

1. "Starting a business is way too risky"

Let me just say that when you keep a job and don't start your own business,
you are actually taking a big risk not starting one. Working at your job and
hoping for the best is a bigger risk then starting a business because in
today's world, no job is secured and you may never know when the company
will cut your job and kick you out of their door.

2. "I don't have the money to do this"

Look, if you are truly serious about starting and running a business, you
have got to have money to invest in it. If you don't then how are you
expecting to make any money and running a successful business?

Even if you have small amounts of money saved, then you can start on a
smaller scale and build from there. There are plenty of stories about people
who started with little money and have grown their business in the millions
of dollars.

You have got to make this a serious issue and find the money to do what you
want to do in your business. If you don't have the money, you can always
borrow it. You have to find a solution.

3. "My family, friends, and co-workers don't support me and don't believe in
me"

The fact is that it doesn't matter what they say or think about you and your
business. This is YOUR decision and you have to go with what your heart and
mind says. The main reason why people in your life don't support you and
your business is because all of their lives they have been taught to get a
good education and get a good job at a great company. Starting a business is
like a foreign language to them.

4. "I am too old/young to do this business"

You are never too young or too old to start and run a business. Using your
age is another one of those excuses that can hold you back.

5. "I am not lucky enough"

Luck has nothing to do with succeeding in business. Look at other people
that have a business and are successful and study what they do on an ongoing
basis. They are not lucky.
They are doing key things on a daily basis that creates their success and it
is much easier then you think. It might not be rocket science after all.

So, from today, make the decision that you will not use anymore excuses not
to start your own business. If an issue comes up, then find the solution as
to how you are going to go forward and not backwards. This is very
important.
